Anubias ‘Verking’ is a cultivated Anubias variety valued for its broad, lush leaves, compact form, and very hardy nature. It fits perfectly in low-tech tanks, beginner setups, and aquascapes that need strong, leafy greenery with minimal maintenance.

Anubias plants belong to the genus Anubias, within the Araceae (Arum) family, making them flowering monocots native to tropical Africa, popular in aquariums as hardy, low-to-medium light, rhizome-based aquatic/semi-aquatic plants. They are categorized as rhizome plants, grown attached to driftwood or rocks rather than planted in substrate, and are known for their sturdy, dark green leaves and tolerance for various water conditions, ideal for beginners.
