One of the most common bristlenose species available, Ancistrus cirrhosus is a rather out going considering all plecos. They tend to do well either solitary or in groups of 3-6 (2males, 4 females).
When keeping them in colony/groups of 6, it is fairly common that you will start to see breeding behaviour between the fish.
Fairly fun to keep in tanks, rather it be for breeding or just general aquaria!
